Job Description

Production Operative Responsibilities 

Based in Aurora IL, your main task will be to operate the production machines (setting up, changing over and ensuring the product quality is up to standard) and work to sales orders, planners and Kanban requirements. This is a physically demanding role, so energy, enthusiasm and an ability to do some hand assembly and light lifting are crucial. 

Job Duties

• Basic production fault finding to identify machine problems 
• Undertaking the care of machines & equipment as part of your daily role 
• Maintaining and driving forward 5s standards 
• Using IT systems to update works orders and complete quality checks 
• Must be able to lift 20-40lbs consistently

Experience Required

• Familiarity with Manufacturing and Warehousing
• An ability to work to deadlines and remain focused in busy periods
• The drive to challenge machine targets, identify areas for improvement and remain task/goal motivated.
