Regional Illinois Design Educators Association (IDEA) Competition at Waubonsee Community College, Academic and Professional Center
Industry partners are needed to participate as contest judges for the 2023 IDEA Region 6 Competition held at Waubonsee Community College. Judges will evaluate group design projects and individual drawings from area high school competitors. Categories include: Introductory Board, Introductory CAD, 3D CAD Modeling, 2D Machine CAD, Architectural Board, Architectural CAD. Judging opportunities require a time commitment of 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (lunch included)

Industry partners are also needed to participate as panelists. Panelists will answer questions such as:
- "How did you did you get to where you are today in your career?" "If you were back in high school, would you do anything differently related to your career?"
- "What piece of career advice would you give your younger self?"
- Panel Members time commitment would be from 11-12:30 (lunch included)
